Measuring Progress Toward Recovery
Consumer Recovery Outcomes System

CROS Overview

The Consumer Recovery Outcomes System (CROS) offers a unique outcome management tool that benefits the clinical planning process and incorporates feedback from consumers, clinicians and a very important person (VIP) in the consumer's life. The result? A comprehensive, accurate assessment of the consumer's progress toward recovery. Currently in their third version, the Consumer Recovery Outcomes System questionnaires are referred to as “CROS 3.0” questionnaires. CROS 3.0 questionnaires are copyrighted and not for reuse.

Developed with the input of consumers and front-line clinicians, CROS provides a "snapshot" of a consumer's progress through its clinical report, the Treatment Progress Report. Aggregate CROS data provides descriptive, comparative and change over time information for program evaluation, needs assessment and other research.

CROS is owned and licensed through CROS, LLC, a 50/50 partnership between Colorado Health Networks and our mental health center partner, Sycare. As a company, our goal is to provide a measurement system that is a meaningful and useful component of clinical treatment as well as program evaluation and outcome processes. Our overarching and guiding principle is to support and enhance the use of psychiatric rehabilitative services that promote recovery.
